Notes: Ideally the town would like it gone by baseball season next year. They
would like to have a commitment of sorts by January 1 but they realize that actual work on the
site would be weather dependent and are willing to be flexible.
The main house and the addition (with the kitchens and old farm office are available)
The garage would be available if wanted
The barns are not
They plan on using the long cow barn to fill the basement. I included pix of the basement anyway.
IF YOU ARE AT ALL INTERESTED PLEASE CONTACT ME. JANUARY IS FAST APPROACHING. They would be happy to make the house available again to anyone who missed the November 22 walk-through.Update: November 18, 2002
The walk-through is being held Friday November 22 at 10:30 AM
It does not appear that anything beyond the garage is available. This can be confirmed at the walk-through
Directions:
I91 North or South to Route 20 West
At the to intersection of Route 187 & Route 20, there will
be a Dunkin Donuts on your left, and a church on your right. At the
light take a right on to North Main Street. You will go down the road,
maybe less than a mile and there will be a
baseball field on your left and you will see a white house. Take a left
into the parking lot and you are there
The town of East Granby is holding a walk-through at a future date. If you would like to attend, please contact me at diane@old-homes.net
While they didn't mention the garage and attached barns, I am assuming they are also available.
I was told there have been some configuration changes to the rooms inside over the years. It has a slate roof and what looks like wooden gutters around most of the house
